My mother and I live in Oregon (Portland), and we both hate it. She is from the East Coast (New England area) and I am from Oregon. As I said we both hate Oregon, but we do not know where to move. I was thinking Montana or Vermont or Maine.
Any ideas would be of great help!

How about Vermont? It is beautiful there. Oh, I see you did
mention that. Ok, would you be happy moving back to New England? If not , could you maybe take a few trips to different areas to see what you might like. It is hard to just move to a new location and then maybe not like it at all. Moving is a job and expensive too. I know I have done it several times. I hope that where ever you move you will both be happy there.
