Rich M, you are sick. You are advocating the killing of all Iraqi's, the vast majority of whom are just wanting to live their lives in peace. You need psychiatric help.

If Iraq succeeds in becoming an independent and free country, that option would necessarily be up to the Iraqi people.
Just imagine, Iraq with a government that answers to the people instead of the other way around. Another free and independent ally in the Middle East.
Is that not worth fighting for?

To be an Israel-style democracy they'd need to kill most Sunnis and displace the survivors to Anbar Province, starving them to death, denying them any rights, including the right to vote, as the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians. Please don't compare Israel to the U.S. and Europe. In Israel, the orthodox Jews will stone you for driving your car on the Sabbath.
Iraq can only offer universal Healthcare if they nationalize their oil fields by voting down Bush's oil "reform" bill, which would surrender 80% of Iraq's oil fields to the control of western oil corps.

I take exception to your assertion that Israel is a democracy .
Israel is NOT a democracy as we in the western democracies see, live and define a democracy and DOES NOT DESERVE TO HAVE PEOPLE BELIEVE IT IS !!!
While not technically a theocracy ,it has many more attributes of a theocracy than it does a democracy.
By throwing the term democracy around ,it gives Israel a perception that IN FACT IS NOT A REALITY again as WE know a democracy.
In respect to your inclusion of Israel in the universal health care club,it is only because of the obscenely high aid that the US funnels annually to it's client state that allows Israel to have universal health care but ironically and morally un-believable,Americans themselves do not have health care .

Why do you consider Iraq uncivilized?
They were one of the first civilized countries in the world.
They were civilized, while the white man was living in Caves eating raw meat and having sex with animals.

No... Israel allows Arab (Muslim) citizens to vote and even hold office... Iraq isn't likely to do that
