Movies are a waste of time because that first date should be taking place where the two of you can TALK! Lunch is too much of a RUSH thing. Dinner is the best because you do not have to rush and IF things go badly you can simply go home early. IF things go WELL then there is always a CHANCE that you could share breakfast after the two of you wake up TOGETHER.

somewhere creative/unoriginal.

movies & restaurants are nice, but girls like it if u impress them with something else. maybe a lunch in the park or beach or just talking somewhere with a scenic view

movie, lunch, dinner, or even just getting coffee someplace. i had almost a 2 hour first date at dunkin donuts one time. really!

Someplace outdoors, with gardens and flowers, and a picnic. I always feel more relaxed

a cheap motel where you pay by the hour and a bottle of Mad Dog 2020 is ideal to me, only if its grape flavor though
