!. Porn sites are notorious for putting mega cookies and Temporary Internet files on your computer. Some are very sophisticated and hard to remove even with quality virus protection.
2. Yes you can get a virus in chat rooms quite easy. Any time you click on a link or RSS you are taking a chance because there is no way to tell if it is infected until you click on it. Guess what? Once you click on it, it's to late.
3. AVG is a good free addition virus protection software program. I would also recommend that you download and use SPYBOT also. Understand though that many virus today are very sophisticated and sometimes they get by without being detected. Others once in your computer are not easily removable even with good protection.

First off, you shouldn't be going on sites like that if your not of age.
Secondly, if those sites are anything like YouTube where its just streaming videos then no. If you have a good firewall it should stop any downloading of a file.
Getting viruses through chat rooms is possible if you click on a link that has a virus on it. Supposively, there are viruses on Myspace but none that could affect your computer.
Thirdly, yes. AVG 7.5 Free Edition is probably the best free antivirus software. Besides maybe Spybot S&D and HijackThis.

All porn sites have the potential of giving you a virus (as with most sites on the net) but the risk of spyware is much greater.
As for chat room, file sharing is your biggest risk. Just chatting is not going to cause you any problems. (Unless you start talking smack to a hacker, then you might be taught a lesson)

you are protected but it is possible to get a virus through any site where user are allowed to download and add stuff to the site. dont give any files permission to do anything on your computer,if you do that nothing can protect you. watch out for files with .exe on the end of them and dont give out your email address

AVG is the second best at stopping porn viruses. The best is not being a loser and watching porn.
