My friends tell me this all the time, but I am the one that would fall for it. Is it true?

They are not saying I should get waisted or tipsy but just a few drinks. How true is this?

NO. I've been there and all you get is a hangover and no idea of wot you read!

No but, you'll be a little more happier, come to think of it. It might do some good because the alcohol free you of your inhibitions, and makes things more interesting. Take for the strobe light effect in the club or at a house party. A couple of drinks, makes that girl you didn't think was hot, much more attractive. Maybe the same principle applies to studying.

Alcohol does not increase your brain power or your ability to remember things. Unless your friends are super scholars, I would not pay any attention to them.
