While I haven't seen these investigation results I can share with you what I've experienced through using hypnotherapy as a healing option for others. Numerous people who did not believe in reincarnation dumbfound themselves when they begin exploring their memory of other lifetimes. I'm very careful to avoid leading them anywhere and use open questions--mainly "When was the first time you experienced this pain?" It could've been yesterday but the majority of people will see vivid accounts of an injury happening hundreds of years previous.

People who are drawn to hypnotherapy as a mean of exploring the past will often choose to see what occurs between incarnations. All the experiences are very similar. A period of rest and review, meeting up with a soul family--those they tend to incarnate alongside over and over in various roles--planning for the next incarnation and a lot of joy. The people continue to exist only without the physical vehicle.

Who can really say what happens until we achieve continuity of consciousness and are able to maintain our awareness through wake/sleep cycles and life/death cycles.

In all actuality, how do we define reality when all of life could be a dream? :-) When we get too set in our beliefs we blind ourselves to other possibilities.

Best of luck in your journey of discovery!

I am not aware of paranormal investigation saying religion is wrong. where does your soul go after death. it cant go to heaven or hell. It has to wait to be judged before you can go anywhere. So until judgment day comes, it would make sense that souls would be wandering the universe. science and physics cannot answer everything. Even Steven Hawking has referred to devine intervention in the creation of the universe. Einstien was religious, and Edisen was so sure of the afterlife, a lot of his inventions were to make contact with the spirit world. Would you talk down to Edisen, or Einstien? Would you call Edisen an idiot for believing in the afterlife? Your body has a measurable electrical charge. This charge leaves when you die. But does the energy die with your body? No. it continues. All energy continues as a different form of energy. So if that is a scientific fact that all energy continues, would this not mean you continue even though your body was dead? And since your life force is energy, then, you would continue to exist on another plane of existance.

In fact the premise of your question is misinformed. Paranormal investigators suggest that life (in some form) continues after death which is the same thing that most major religions of the world suggest.

Early (1882) psychical investigators that created the Society for Psychical Research were mostly Cambridge University scholars and they believed that science could be used to confirm their religious beliefs about a continuing existence after bodily death.

If you talk about religion as if it's written in stone, even though Moses brought down the tablets of rock, I'd still have to argue with ya. Paranormal fits into whatever part of religion you wish because religion is "your own beliefs".

Most religious organizations believe that the spirit or soul of a person continues after death. You're still stuck on an unproven statement the the soul either goes to heaven or hell depending on what the person did in their lifetime. Think instead about the religious culture that believes in reincarnation. A soul returns in rebirth after each lifetime to continue to remake or improve itself.

Science might look at it as the body being energy that continually is created and used. Who's to say what form the energy might take?

I'd rather think that anything is possible.

First, is arguable to say that ghostbusters/investigators are scientific method followers. Science REQUIRES that measurable evidence is exercised following precise principles of reasoning, that data is collected through observation and experimentation, and that an hypotheses is formulated and tested.

This is what you see, for example when someone losses an arm from an accident or surgery. The patient suffers pain and feels its amputated arm, pain ins measured, and they test the patient with different ideas and instruments. Today, phantom pain HYPOTETHICALLY assigned to nerve damage,
prior arterial blood clot, or nerve tumor. None of them is a full explanation, BUT scientists and patients can affirm that there is a REAL but mind originated phenomenon.

The term paranormal describes "any phenomenon that in one or more respects exceeds the limits of what is deemed physically possible according to current scientific assumptions. You see... existent pain in an unreal body part is EXISTENT.

But all other miracles seem to be TRASH. Just visit

You see, this is like the Lake Ness Monster: the son of one of the creators of the picture told the real story, but still there is plenty of foundations, investigators, etc, looking for the best.

If it moves money.. someone will make a buck... just google paranormal equipment and investigators and you will find more than the 1.389.000 results I just found... money is the big thing !.....

So let me conclude:

If there is a buck to be made.. there is paranormal flux every corner.. except a scientific approach is required , as Randy's million offer . T

Money is reality!

Why do people think that a million dollars is the most important thing in the world??? I really doubt that any spirits would do anything for money....BECAUSE THEY CAN'T USE MONEY !!!! And anyone who says they can do spiritual things is lieing...because only the spirits can do the spiritual things. It would actually be wrong for a person to take money for doing something that a spirit did...especially if they don't give the spirit credit for doing it. I'm pretty sick of hearing about Randi's million dollars. There wouldn't be any way you could prove anything to him anyway..because he's spiritually blind. If anyone took his money...the rest of their life would belong to him. This is like the R&S section . The Christians can't "save" the atheists...only Jesus saves. He has to be the one who does it. So I don't understand what all the fighting is about ..on either section. I don't give a flip about "proving" that the spiritual things that have happened to me are "true" or "real" or whatever. I'm just trying to understand them.

You must remember, Christ is not dead. Ask all other beliefs, where their God is. Chirsianity, is the only belief that has a Savior that came to earth, took our sin on His shoulders, suffered for Us, died on the cross, then rose from the dead defeating Satan. This was all done with prophesy on many many fronts. It takes more faith to believe in a God that has absdolutely no proof verses one that has been identified in a history book that is constanly being proven true by archeologists. The really great thing is that his sacrifice costs you nothing other than belief wirth proof.

The paranormal explanations for ghosts are as scientifically unfounded as the religious explanations for the soul.

Dogmas were good for the past- they helped people.
Now we understand more and the religion should accept scientific researches in this field so to give people balanced knowledge of what we are.
