You sound really excited about the name and I almost hate to give my opinion..........but you asked. Jaydee sounds like a girls name. He'd probably go by Michael. That a strong name. If you are wanting the initials JD and have the middle name Michael, why don't you give him 2 middle names. I don't know, but something like James David Michael ________. I like the name Jason. Especially when the dads name is Jay (son of Jay) Something else unusual about Jason......1st letter of 5 months spell Jason.( July,August,Sept.,Oct., Nov) Remember when you pick a name, that it will work good for a grown man, too. Congratulations and best wishes.

It's really not that great of a name, in my opinion. Michael is such a great, strong-sounding name, but Jaydee is way too trendy, and very awkward sounding. If you would like to give your son the initials JD, how about John David? He could go be J.D.... Good luck and God bless!

Jaydee sounds too much like the girl's name Jaycee (which is one of my friend's names). to me it looks too feminine, to be a boy with the middle name Micheal. Although i do love Micheal! What about Jonathon daniel Micheal (last name) and call him JD? or spell Jaydee like Jady. the -ay, and double e make it look femine. I like Jady Micheal.

Personally, I wouldn't (spell it). If you like the initials J.D., I'd simply opt to give him a formal name so he at least has the option as he ages. Having a "name" that simply sounds like two letters is a bit too insubstantial for my taste.
Also, this one happens to be VERY trendy at the moment, so if it's unique you wanted, this is most certainly not. It only manages to blend in with the slew of other children named Jaycee, Jayden, Jaylen, Jayson, Jayda, Jayde, Jayla, Jayleigh, etc. (using the common Jay- misspellings to demonstrate the similarity).

jaydee sounds a little fairy like if you know what i mean why not try something like Jayson dean Micheal ??? or even jayden micheal can still call him j.d for short just remember this kid is going to have to go through school and life with this name so make it a decent one not a girly one.

I would give him the name Jackson Drew, or John Drew, or a j name and then Drew, and then use the initails. I think the initials are cute. And have no Michael for a middle naem.
