If the present life is the "cause", next life is going to be the "effect".

Actually, the word life by its nature is one and only one. Its definition is to cause things to live. Life is greater than death, in that death has an end, but life as they say, goes on. A better question would be what would our next existence be like? The atomist would say that we never die. Some religious beliefs make similar assertions. But the Bible say that what we call life is more than mere life it is Holy Life, a Holy Spirit or Ghost that we call God. God reveals that all things shall be made new for the former things shall be passed away. This means that all material existence will become like God. We sentient beings will become spirit beings and exist in a spiritual realm. One realm is united with Holy Life, and the other realm is apart from this Holy Spirit we call life. The next existence will therefore be spirit.

If you are a person who knows God and pursues a path to a more complete knowledge of God then you will be "in the light" after this life is over. A person's soul floats to one of several levels of this higher state if the person has removed from themselves character flaws such as anger, violence, greed, envy and all of the myriad addictions that bind one's soul to the earth and separate that soul from God. In addition, the development of one's soul is enhanced through constant pursuit of love, happiness, joy, kindness, gratitude, and mercy. If one does not pursue this path during their lifetime they proceed to an existence best described as nothingness, and darkness. I know that this contrasts sharply with the conventional Christian representation of "Hell", but I do not view this state as any less of a "Hell." The important matter is that a soul must willingly accept God in order to move forward into the light. As Jesus wisely stated, "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness" (John 12:46). Also Jesus said those in the darkness “do not know whither they goest.”

I seems quite beautyful.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

I hope I am not the first to break this bit of information to you but... when you are dead, you're dead. You have NOTHING to look forward to after you are dead. You need to live a good life now because the memories of those who knew you are all that will be left of you.

Discover the root of the LIFE that you possess NOW!. Death is only, not understanding LIFE. LIFE is eternal and yet we question after-life, next-life, etc.. The story upon the Life, is not the LIFE!

There likely is no afterlife. Why should there be?
Do you remember life before birth? Really? Do you remember your birth? What reason is there to believe that there is an afterlife? Faith is not a reason.

Depends on where you are heading, but either way nothing will be with you, but your soul.
