Oh my God... When will McLaren understand "enough is enough." I don't know about you but, I'd rather see the fighting on track rather than off the track.

If they are guilty then they should be punished.
If an athlete was found to be on drugs then they would have to give back any medals they had won, so if the cars did have illegal fuel then they should get the correct punishment.
F1 has always revolved around politics and mistakes have been made before. Remember Brazil a few years ago (maybe 2003) when the race was stopped early due to the rain and the stewards originally got the result wrong and a few days after the race the win was awarded to the Jordan.
I personally would hate to see Lewis win the title this way, but if the cars were running illegally then they should be punished.

I think Hamilton won't be very happy if he won the title because of an appeal. YOu're right. F1 has become a complete farce this year. It's been a real nightmare. People are more focused by what happens off track rather than on it. You've quite summed it up there. Let's hope we won't have such a season next year

Losing the World Championship is a bitter dissapointment for Lewis and his fans. But it has not in any way damaged Brand Hamilton and the publicity he has had this year will only srenghen the Brand.Sponsors are desperate to own a piece of Lewis. As well as being the best the sport has ever seen he has a great personality.Wheras Kimi(Duck Voice) Raikkonen and cry baby Alonso has zero.On Wednesday the England team were beaten by a over zealous croud in Moscow. The Rugby team in Paris were disallowed a perfectly good try (see the laws of physics) then today our very special Lewis was beaten. Once again we have nothing to show for the brilliant performances by our Sporting fraternity.F1 is in a right shambles with its silly rules and creating havoc for the drivers.Just to let you know Bernie you wont be taking any money from me next year, you are past your sell by date. What a corrupt and rotten game is F1.

The whole year was peppered with questionable rulings.
Overall, I think Kimi made an excellent campaign but Lewis was more consistent throughout the whole year. Kimi deserves the championship as much as Lewis. Sometimes it´s just a matter of luck, one point difference, a millisecond.
It would be a shame if the FIA ruling turns Lewis champion after the race but it won't be as unfair as giving the championship to Ferrari over an arguable incident where the real culprits were exonerated as a reward for incriminating their team without conclusive evidence.

The rules within F1 can be complicated at times and thus, when rules are broken the punishments are equally confusing.
This year has generally been a good, with fewer legal challenges and rule breaks, despite the spying scandal.
If Hamilton is awarded the championship it will be because he has scored most points.
The best driver is measured through points and by no other method, so you would be wrong to insist that Raikkonon should be held aloft.
I agree that generally the fastest driver over the season may be Raikkonon, but who has led the most? We can all make up new parameters but it remains the points that count,

Farce. Don't punish the drivers, the constructors yes, Raikkonen won fair and square. I think Hamilton would hate to win like that. He's to good a sport.

Yes F1 has become a farce, watched it for 40 years, not sure if I`ll be watching next season, when the title winner will be decided in a hearing. A great sport has been ruined.

Really, do you think that Hamilton deserves to be champion this year? It is truth that he has proven to be good driver in some occasions but that is not enough to be a world champion and the Team must learn to be better team and impartial because there were a lot of irregularities and FIA has forgiven.
The team of Mclaren has not respect with Alonso and this gives weaknes with good drivers like Alonso.

This season has been way too controversial, Kimi has won the championship fair and square, kept his nose clean and won the most races.
If anything does come of the fuel saga I imagine that the drivers will keep their positions with the team being punished.
However, a suspicious character was pictured lurking around the back of the williams and bmw garages.
