why cant i use a saftey pin to keep in my ears?

They will make your ears really itchy and eventually turn the skin black or green where the metal reacts with chemicals in your skin xx

You could suffer an allergic reaction and your ears will hurt! The piercing hole will go blackish and it won't be much fun.. The only answer to this is to either wear gold earings or to paint the part of the earing which goes into the ear with clear nail varnish so the metal doesn't make contact with the ear and cause you discomfort.

the body can reject objects like safety pins cheap earring etc because they are made with cheat metals i would say stick with gold or silver and if you really want a safety pin in your ear then go to a good jeweller and have them make you one with gold or if you have any scrap gold they will melt that down and make you one for a price....

Metals that are likely to rust or react with oxygen/your skin will be damaging to your ears. You are putting something metal in a hole through your skin and your ears are very sensitive. It will cause an infection and/or make your ears green.

Most safety pins are made with cheap metals which could irritate your ears plus you would look a little strange.

a safety pin will infect your ears as it it not proper metal. earrings have to be silver, gold or titanium and even then you can react to them.

because if they get caught on something you could rip your year. Some peoples bodies are sensitive to harsh or fake metals and can only handle real golds and silvers. if you are one of these then you may get an infection.
