First thing would be a bad door seal or crooked door. Either way it doesn't let the door seal out the moisture from outside.

You could try putting a rubber strap on it to help close the door better.

Also...I found out years ago that it takes more energy to keep an empty or half full freezer cold....you are trying to cool only air which is harder to do. If you have empty spaces...either get some bags of ice to place in there and use later at parties or picnics to fill those areas...or put some large pieces of Styrofoam in the freezer...even an old closed cooler will work.. You'll be surprised at the savings on electricity.

Agree with the other posts and have it checked to make sure air isnt leaking. But also have to know if you put alot of hot or cooling items in fridge? This will contribute to moisture. Opening it alot in a humid climate also. Dont hold the door open get what you need and close that door.

Could be that the door seals are bad or the door is not closing completely (maybe because of an obstruction or the freezer is not level.)
