how do you find the average of any two numbers (even fractions): ADD them together, then divide by 2. 1/25 + 1/100 = 4/100 + 1/100 = 5/100 divding by 2... is same as multiplying by 1/2 so : 5/100 x 1/ 2 = 5/200 = which reduces to: 1/40

You begin by saying "find the average", but the actual problems are indicating "find the sum". Which do you mean?
