None of the CSU schools are very selective. WIth a 2.7, you should be able to get into any of them (with the possible exception of the Cal Poly schools).
The UC schools are the ones that are hard to get into. You should think about applying to one of the less selective UC schools -- like Riverside or Merced. If you can get in, you will get a much better education than if you go to a CSU school.

A retired school suprentendent in my church doesn't have a whole lot of good things to say about CSU Hayward. An AS from community college is a chance to get your GPA up and a ticket to CSU of your choice.

I hate to tell you this, but if you really want to be a doctor, you need to reconsider. It will be very difficult to get into med school coming from any CSU, especially with the kind of grades you are bringing home. on the other hand, you go to community college, put in the work, get good grades, transfer to a UC and then you have a shot at med school. but the bottom line is that no med school in the US wants a student with a 2.7 gpa, no matter what your ethnicity is

The CSU schools are good for sciences, not really for medicine, except nursing. UC schools are great when it comes to preparation for medicine. Apply at UC Merced or UC Riverside than transfer to an academically tougher UC with a medicine/doctors school such as UC Irvine and UCLA.
However, what Tiare says makes a lot of sense. A Community College can and will help raise your GPA, as long as you put in the work and effort. No med school will accept a GPA of 2.7 and ethnicity and social economic status are not factors that will turn this around. Think about it, would you want a doctor with a 2.7 average taking care of you, your family one day? I know I wouldn't. For UCLA's med program you need to have a high B average just for them to glance at you application. One of my professors at Pasadena City College told me that his family practitioner was a former student of his that started his college academics at PCC.
Good luck to you!
