Why are they no 19 in the AP polls? They posted the biggest upset in college football history this year to App state, Then they got their butts handed to them by Oregon 39-7, They have beaten no quality teams.........I don't understand, why isn't Alabama, or some other worthy team ranked? Is the BCS bias really this bad? I mean if it were Florida, or Arizona state that had lost their first two games like that they would not be ranked for the rest of the season, what up with this crap?????

If you put Michigan on the field with USC, or The Crimson tide, or the Auburn Tigers, or even the Vols they would get creamed, Michigan has beaten nobody worth beating, The Illini and the Nittany Lions are not worthy enough teams to justify Michigan in the top 20, this bias is amazing

And to all the Florida Nazis.......I like the Gators, all I am saying is that the gators don't get that kind of bias that Michigan gets.........thats all, If the Gators had posted the same two losses at the beginning of the year that Michigan did the voters would have abandoned them in a hurry

And one more thing, Stanford would roll over App state like a fat guy going for a dough nut.

One more thing, the Big-10 conference is very very week this year, being on top of that conference is not impressive, I would take the WAC champion to play the Big -10 champion any day, or the big 12 champ, why does the big 10 always get so much of the benefit of the doubt, there are other more competitive conferences out there, even the ACC and the big east is stronger than the big 10

I agree. The only decent team they have beaten is an overated Penn State team(they were 10th at the time), and they only won by 5 points. All the other teams they have played are complete crap. They should not be ranked.

Michigan lost the first game of the season to App State (on a last second field goal blocked), and the second to an excellent Oregon team, but has won all the rest. They've won 6 in a row, and are in first place in the Big Ten. If they win out, they'll probably play in the national championship game.

You want to whine about bias, how about Florida (2 losses)being ranked 9 and USF(One loss) being ranked 12. USF beat auburn, florida couldn't. MIchigan is a good team that got off to a slow start. It happens. They have a great running back, great O line, decent defense, and some great receivers, and a decent QB. They aren't the same team they were the first two weeks.

Actually Stanford UPSET a FORTY POINT FAVORITE in USC AT USC. That is the biggest upset of the year now. Say what you want but it is. As to why Michigan is that high? They started WINNING. People forget you were losing, once you start winning. Although yeah the bias is part of it.

This is coming from an Ohio State fan. Michigan is a very good team. They are really second best in the Big Ten to the Bucks. They are ranked where they should be. Go Bucks Florida sucks!!! Tim Tebow= Joey Harrington.

Are you crazy. If that happened to Florida.

The SEC is always hailed as the best conference no matter what happens.

Everyone is beating winning one week then losing the next. But of course everyone will say the SEC is that strong. Not that they all might be just 1 great team and a bunch of good teams. Especially those arrogant SEC fans.

sports writers didn't actually watch the Illinois game. Michigan got spotted 3 touchdowns off of dumb penalties and a botched fair catch. Michigan didn't look good at all. without the penalties and stupid mistakes Illinois would have won 24-6

I think that Stanford over USC is a bigger upset than App. State over Michigan. App. State has won the past two D-1AA championships...

Michigan has not lost in the last six outings.........in their conference they have not lost. If they lost in their conference I could agree with you.
The poll I saw was 21.........

See almost word for word what Whalers man said.

" ...if it were Florida...?" PLEASE! Don't you realize that Florida in consecutive games almost got beat by Mississippi, then lost two in a row and are still in the top 10!
