It was NOT planned way in advance remember? The woman who was originally going to sing cancelled, so at the last minute they made who else do they chose?

If in fact, the Indians flew her out so as to distract him from the game, then it would have to rank as one of the all time desperate move by a team to help them win a game. I do not know for sure, so i can only say that it is definitely real speculation. Coincidences like that do not happen often. And the fact that it happened in a win or go home game for the Sox's makes it even more believable. Out of all the female singers who could have sang at the game, it had to be this particular woman. Sounds a little strange....yes.

I guess that really threw Beckett off his game! I can't wait to see the Indians get beat tonight. I think that little manuever was going too far.

ok sorry i think thats pretty lame that everyone thinks that the indians planned it
im a HUGE tribe fan and i know a team from cleveland would not do that.. unless they are the browns cuz they stink..
but i honostly think it was a coincidence.. she grew up a HUGE tribe fan and always wanted to sing at the game

It was cheezy but it was a last minute arrangement...and it didn't seem to faze him. Nothing fazes that beast.
