Our four cats live in the garage, which is where we have their litterboxes and their beds.
It's also storage for hardbacks and paperbacks; some old toys, including childsize walking dolls; items I take to flea markets; record albums and 45s; boxes of material for my costumemaking; Christmas wrap though we haven't exchanged presents for about 20 years or more; posters of all types; damaged comics; puzzles; miscellaneous screwdrivers and tools, plus jars of nails; wheelbarrow; shovels; lawnmower; canned goods; cases of soft drinks and water.

All my tools, My Harley, my tractor, my snow plower, and sooooo many other things items I couldn't even begin to name them all. BUT I can say this I canNOT put my truck or the old ladys' car in there. It is a two stall garage too.

1). Stuff that people don't want in their house, or they want it in their house but it wont go for some reason so its put in the garage
2). Or, in theory any thing you can have in a house you can also keep it in a garage.
