Ran into chip shop and shouted MR Have you any chips left? when told yes we would shout Well you shouldn`t have cooked so many! then we ran off.

I used to take everything apart. Unfortunately didn't get them back together all that good. There was always some screws left over for some reason. Lol

Run outs, knocking dolly out of bed (personal favourite) same things as you really, the girls in the playground always had a couple of tennis balls we used to play up the wall, another thing the string game where you would take turns in taking the loop from each other (can't remember the name)

no-one ever remembers this game!!! see if you do... it was called sticky glue.... each one of ya mates held on to a finger of your hand and you would say "i went to the shop to buy some sssssausages....or anything else starting with S as once you shouted sticky glue they had to run and you had to chase them also buddin, we used to pick the new rose buds of the bushes and throw them at people's windows, they made a great noise but being buds they didn't break the windows (terrible really but we were kids) id murder my kids if they done now!!!!

jacks,hopscotch,2or3ball,rounders,kiss chase,marbles,tag,
knock down ginger,scrumping,(naughty)tying a rope to the highest point of a lamp post & using it to swing round on,go-carting,pogosticks,stilt walking,roller skating,skipping & various other activities.All back in the days when it was safe for kids to play in the street & what a lot of exercise we got compared to kids today & it cost next to nothing.

rounders, hopscotch, skipping, knick knack, great days remembered! you never see the kids play these games any more, they dont know what they are missing!
