are there still pay phones?

Last time I tried using a payphone was two weeks ago. The thing was so jam packed with change, the coin would not go in, I [expletive] you not. The operator was asking for $1.85 for a frickin' local call! I said "I already put it in!" and she connected me. Voila! Free phone call.

I always thought the money went in a tunnel straight to the phone company.

because they do it probably at a time like 5am or something when there is a small chance of anybody wanting to use a payphone...

and because there probably isn't enough money worth opening the phone for since nobody uses payphones anymore because everyone has cellphones!

u know when i was very young .. i always thgt the coins roll down into the pipelines or something and to the coin bank
