An equilateral arch is drawn about an equilateral triangle with side length 9, dtermine the area of the equilateral arch.

Uh, what's an equilateral arch?

If you're just circumscribing a circle, the trick might be to figure out its radius and area, subtract the area of the triangle, and perhaps divide by 3 if it's only over one side.

But that of course depends on what the definition of "equilateral arch" is.
