I do not know a "bad" freemason, and I know lots of them. I think that the secrecy of the case is because of the Portugese police, I read on Gerry's blog today that he and Kate would like to defend themselves more but they can not because of the Portugese rules. I am NOT pro McCann, I have my own suspicions about them and the case but I do not suspect that Freemasonry has anything to do with it. I am sure that Gerry is getting emotional support from his fellow brethren, as they would give to anyone in his situation but am very oppose to the belief that there is something untoward going on in that way at least. I think that eventually, the public will find out the truth about what happened on that terrible evening but whilever the McCanns are still in Portugal, the secrecy will remain.

I don't believe Gerry McCann is a Freemason.
Freemasons don't have a problem with the Catholic Church (Freemasonry accepts religions of many, many faiths equally, and many Masons are practicing Catholics) but the Church has, however, had strong opinions of Freemasonry. If a man is a practising Catholic and wishes to petition to become a Freemason, I would advise him to get council from his Cardinal beforehand.
In addition, a man needs to be of good moral character to become AND REMAIN a Freemason. A man may be removed and demitted from Freemasonry if moral turptitude or unlawful activity arises.

Free masons do get extra rights. A Mason will not go against another Mason. Seeing as most of the establishment are masons you can see how that would be quite beneficial.

He is not a Freemason. This question has been asked and answered here before...
Being a freemason, as mentioned, does not give you any special rights or benefits with regard to law/business, etc...

This has been asked before and had lots of response. I don't think so though and if he was then I doubt we will ever know its still a very hush hush association.

Only the masons will know. But Kate is a model
http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20136237,00.html
Notice how small the picture of Maddie is.
Lorieli..It is very true I don't know how to format or sell a magazine but I thought the point was to find a missing child?
Loreli...Surely you are not saying that Kate willingly posed for this picture in order to boost the sales of the magazine, and if not wouldn't she have insisted on her daughter on being the more dominent picture in return for her interview with this magazine. After all she IS the important one, this I hope we do agree on.
