what do you think would have happened if tom robinson wasnt killed or if the courtcase was decided differently. i need help with this....please help

he would have been lynched anyway and probably right in front of his home to teach his family to keep quiet .

atticus still would have been hated for representing a black man. If he wasnt killed, which is highly unlikely anyway, he would have been guilty in the eyes of every white person that laid eyes on him, even if they secretly knew better. That's called denial. Tom would have probably been taken from the jail (or his home if he was found not guilty) and he would have been hanged by the lynch mob. in 2007, are nooses still being strewn around to insult black professionals and students? Yes, so that means racism still exists. TKM was fiction but obviously based in reality. Whatever the case, the outcome still would not have been good. Fairy-tale endings don't usually happen when one ingredient in the story is racism......bk.

The white community of maycomb would probably protest about it. Bob Ewell would try and kill Tom's family. Judge Taylor would probably be threatned too

Because Tom Robinson was accused of rape. And even though he didn't do it, of course he'd be convicted anyways. Because he's colored. He was talking about that he's scared of getting the chair. 'Cause he knew he was.
