Has there ever been a president that wasn't constantly ridiculed? Because I can't think of one. Especially those were president during times of war.

Actually before the last 40 years it was unacceptable to ridicule the President of the US. If you did you would be labeled un-American and there was a time where even journalists were tried for insulting the President. Things changed with the advent of TV and our tabloid headline loving culture. I am glad however to have the freedom to say Bush is a complete moron. Reagan did take ridicule but not as much as the prvious 3 Pres of Nixon, Ford and Carter and not as much as the latter 3 Bush, Clinton and Bush (deservedly I might add). Other than that you have to go back to Eisenhower or Kennedy. Also guy below me, Vietnam ended 8 years before Reagan took office. Learn your history.

The president of the Watchtower isn't a member of the governing physique at present, and that plenty i be attentive to. All you need to do is seem the 1st web site of any Watchtower magazine, and you will see the president is: M.H. Larson. and that i strongly disagree with you that Jehovah's Witnesses are quite a few the main ignorant people. in fact, Jehovah's Witnesses are quite a few the superb knowledgeable people on the earth. And the witnesses i've got met are a ways from ignorant. i'm sorry to pay attention of your concern. If it had no longer been for the Watchtower i could be a ineffective guy. I won't bypass into component, however the fact from the Bible saved my life. i've got had good relationships with God's people. yet another fact is, the Watchtower encourages on an accepted basis Bible examining. because of this encouragement, Jehovah's Witnesses be attentive to the scriptures nicely. it relatively is the final factor i desire to assert: Jehovah's people are form and nicely prepared, and that they pontificate approximately God's Kingdom purely as Jesus Christ did; Luke 4:40 3

Not likely, But bush pushes the envelope for being ridiculed, the man can't even put a sentance to together, and when he finaly does spit words out they are all backwards and upside down. the man just makes himself look more and more like a moron with every word that he speaks(or slures)

you would think that the guy would take some private lessons on public speaking. but maybe he is a moron.

it is obvious to me and many many others that he does not run the country. he is just a speaker that tells the rest of us what the senate plans to do.

The man can't even read a speech of of a piece of paper without screwing it up. there are grade 5 students that could do his job better.

i'd love to the see the episode of "are you smarter that a 5th grader" with George dubyuh as a contestant.

The United States and every other Country on Earth is laughing at Bush, Not because he is funny, but because he is a mentaly handicaped person that was voted to be the leader of the free world?

Goodness regan got it worse then most. A lot of people accused him of being senile and his cabinet was running things. I dont know how he became so famous after he died , but the fact is he wasnt too responsive, especially in the last years of his office.

Now, one side ridicules the other , its how it always is. Because the other side always wants their guy to be president and will find reasons to dog the guy in office. And yes every president has screwed up in one way or another . Its an awfully big job.... but even though thats true doesnt mean some of them didnt deserve it ....like our current one , probably one of the worst in history.

No and that's the way it will always be - everyone who ridicules the president can always do a better job on that issue, but doesn't realize there are also 200 other issues going on at the same time that aren't getting the press.

Ronald Reagan was almost never ridiculed. Because of his leadership America was able to pull out of Vietnam and so he is celbrated rather than ridiculed

Probably FDR.....he was well liked and during his terms rallied the people. It was hard times, but he was respected and loved. He was handicapped and overcame many obstacles in his own personal life as well as being a prominent leader of the USA.

Eisenhower did pretty good. Kennedy during his short term was subject of humor but not ridicule.

Yes, most of the older ones...like from Kennedy back. But just for the record, Bush has been the most comedic "target rich" president so far. He's just an idiot.

As Ye Sow, So Shall Ye Reap

They all get it. Some a little less than others

Strange observation: If all of us liked the same guy, we wouldn't be a democracy, would we?
