Check your brake switch under the dash. The switch on it may be stuck and not releasing when you press the brake pedal. It may be broken out of the bracket, but that would normally make the brake lights stay on. Try not to remove the switch if the button is stuck in. If you remove the switch from the bracket it won't stay in when you put it back in because the clip is designed to break. You can also check the sockets where the bulbs go in, but these wouldn't keep the high mount brake light from working. Only the switch will keep them all from working.
