Depending on what the name is. Like being called "******" wouldn't be very nice, but being called something like "honey" or "master of the universe" would be acceptable.
Pet names are a cute way of showing your love for someone.

Pet names are sappy & childish. You want to call something by a stupid name, get a pet.
That is how my husband puts it. We have never used pet names because personally I think they are stupid also.
We only say : hun or babe
We do not make up baby names out of our names or call each other sugar, sweety, pumpkin, pookie, WHATEVER. We are adults & we speak to each other as adults...
