In "things" I count just everything: soccer/basketball club,legalization of marijuana,birth control,wars - never mind if your opinion is pro or contra (ex I hate racism which means I support any activity against it) - whatever it is that you would stand up for,give a voice to or fight against?

1) Affirmative action
2) Gun control
3) Legalization of same-sex & domestic partnerships--not everyone wants to get married/is legally allowed to marry and shouldn't be penalized for it.
4) Tolerance (religion, race, etc.)
5) Pro-choice & sex education
6) Human rights organizations (Amnesty International for one)
7) Free speech (ACLU)
8) Animal welfare (too many to list!)
9) Immigration (pro-immigration)
10) Higher education and making it available to more.

2. all forms of contraception to be covered by all insurance and medicaid
3. age appropriate sex ed in public schools
4. free higher education for the first 60 credits to encourage higher education in public universities
5.loan forgiveness for those having earned medical, nursing and pharmacy degrees who choose to sign a 7 yr contract to work with underserved populations and accept the lower salary
6. welfare to work programs which include real job training and a reliable car to get to work and back, if needed
7. safe, decent and affordable housing for the millions of underemployed workers working 40 hours a week at minimum wage
8.universal health care for all who are under 18
9. mandatory "work or jail" for deadbeat dads and moms who refuse to pay child support
