I wouldn't add a betta to your setup, because you have a longfinned serpae tetra in there, which a betta would attack

Hope that helps
good luck

Yes they can be but some are picky.... THey cannot be with anyther betta unless its a female... But sometimes that won't work because your betta might not be matuer enoughf... YOU might be abel to have a sucker but it dependz once again on your fishes temper... And your tank size and filtrility...
So your filter and heater and stuff... YOU could some tetras I sapose... BUt AGAIN it dependz on how challangeing you fish is... I mustt tell YOU i got a betta and a sucker and my beta would not leave my sucker alone... One day my sucker had enoughf and he ate My beta... THey end ( he actually killed him and mangled him but you get it...)
They take agression towards agressive and fancy fish Witch means NO GOLD FISH>.. like people have been sugestiing you do... Witch is wrong... They have nice tails and they are pretty colored witch a beta won't allow... It takes pride killing another fish for looks..

The Betta might pick on the male guppy if it has really long flowing tailfins, otherwise if the guppy is fast enough to stay away from the Betta everything should be fine.

male bettas need 2 be by themselves. Female bettas can get along with other fish but they are still semi-agressive. U can put 1 male betta and 2 female bettas 2 gether.

SOME male bettas can be kept with other fish. However, with the fish you've mentioned I would NOT introduce a betta.

Yes, as long as they are with other non-aggressive fish, and as long as it is not another beta (male or female).

I have had a beta living with the algea eating fish with no problems. They also do fine with other goldfish or non-agressive fish.

However, they do not like other fish that move a lot or make sudden movements. They feel threatened.

Yes they can be you just want to make sure the other fish does not have fancy fins. I have had my Betta in with platies. African dwarf frogs Ghost shrimp and some corydors catfish.. Right now I have one in with my African dwarf frogs.

bettas can live with other fish! only male bettas cant be with other male bettas and dont put a male betta with a female betta unless you want her to have babies and later get killed.
