All the time, because I've come to realise that people don't care about anyone but themselves, honestly. At the end of the day they only care about pleasing themselves, and won't care about who their affecting. I know that might sound harsh, but it's true. People are so single minded, only concerned about 'Me, Myself and I'. Although I look out for myself alot more now, I wouldn't change for the world, because there is no better feeling than being the reason someone is smiling! And that is something that many people will unfortunately never feel.

Yep, they sure do BUT they also know when they've gone to far and taken the p*ss coz that's when my Sweet Nature disappears and I kick a*se.

Same as if someone borrows money of me, be it £1 or £10. If you can't pay me back on the day you say you will - Fine - Not a problem, but tell me don't just bloody avoid and ignore me !!

Well Bex I don't know about the 'sweet' bit! My husband is always getting annoyed with me because he says I let people take advantage but I would rather be that way than not help people at all. xxxx

People try to take advantage of my usual good nature, but now, they don't get away with it. I'm much more assertive than I used to be.

Yes. But then when you start standing up for your self I feel guilty - what if the person is genuinely in need of help?

Like the boy who cried wolf I suppose.

I think that sometimes you can be to kind to someone and yes they do try to take an advantage thinking 'oh she won't mind' but I can assure them it's not working that way lol.

Yes in my younger days people often mistook my kindness for weakness, because it was so. Now people seldom make that mistake. I am older and wiser.
