Wat do u think about this. I would vote for John Stewart way before this dumbass cause atleast he can be mature sometimes. I think this is a total insult to the real politicians we have running trying to do better sh** then satire jokes and play games for our country like Barack Obama and Clinton. I think it sucks that some votes are gonna be lost to the real 2 big candidates bc some dumb*** wants to run and play games. wat do u think?

U might say i need to chill out, but if u thik about it. This country has had 8 yrs of pure bullsh** running this country. Its time for us to rise beyond that and we dont need any other obsticles in our way that veer us from making that decision to better our country. And someone that can't even treat their own guests with respect without cracking jokes or insulting and cant even act mature for a second doesnt need to come inbetween this crucial time.

lol... and you say you would vote for John Stewart BEFORE you would vote for Colbert?
I took your question seriously until I read that part.
Stephen Colbert is a far smarter and more mature man than Stewart could ever be. I'm not talking about the character, I'm talking about the person. Stewart is often childish and two-faced.
I'd be more than happy if Colbert actually "steals" votes from "the 2 big candidates" ... niether of them deserve to be in their positions in the first place. I only wish I lived in South Carolina to participate.
However, there's always the write-in option.

Joke? HA. A shrew and another goof from NY are running. The two political parties have created nothing but waste, stalemate, and greed for the last 50 years. THEY are the joke. I'm writing him in in IL, and I don't care if it "wastes" my vote - according to the patriot act, both parties should be arrested for supporting terrorism - Reps for big oil, and Dems for UAW which supports big oil, which supports terrorism.
Real public servants don't exist here - just money grubbing zombie pawns spouting flipflop party line manure and shoveling pre-digested news down our throats. WE'RE THE JOKE.
But I won't be.

I think this is just another juvenile political stunt, and it shows the lack of serious political thought on the left.
I also think Colbert and Comedy Central had better be careful. They might think it's all a big joke, but Federal election and fundraising laws are very serious. Even if he enters only one state, "joke" could skew or even change the outcome of the election in South Carolina. And in a close election, that could alter the results and choose the next president.
If Comedy Central is paying his salary, and promoting his campaign every night on their network, they are effectively donating money to his candidacy. The Elections commission should watch this very carefully. If Colbert or Comedy Central violate the election laws, they should be held fully accountable--up to and including prison time.
Someone has to teach these Dems a lesson.

Your brother is robust. Stephen Colbert practices a very state-of-the-artwork point of comedy and he's attempting to coach you methods absurd politics somewhat are presently. greater capacity to him - yet do not take him heavily.

Jon Stewart, he's alright I guess. Maybe Colbert is seriously trying to contend or maybe this is a mockery. Either way, we have a lot to look foward to. Ever seen Man of the Year? This is sort of like that.

Pat Paulson was doing the same thing as Colbert 40 years ago. Lighten up.

Pat Paulson (another nobody unfunny "comedian", but he was from the 60's) use to do it as a joke too. It wasn't funny then either, just a cheap way to get a few minutes of attention every 4 years.

I think you need to develop a sense of humor. And then you might want to look up "satire" in the dictionary.
