It was a fumble.
If it is knocked out by impact or by a hit, before a player is down then it is a fumble.

Wow, you should gain an understanding of the game before you ask silly questions like that. It was definitely a fumble. Are you trying to say that hitting a player and forcing him to fumble should be illegal?

Romo fumbled. Im a vikings fan, at first i thought he was down but if you look at it in slow motion he loses the ball while he was up.

what are you talking about? even the announcers claimed it was a fumble. even your great troy aikman said it was a fumble.
recap: patrick clayton caught the ball, then tucked it in. it happened quickly, but he did manage to tuck the ball in, which means he had possession. the refs made the right call.
as i mentioned before this game began, don't forget that minnesota defense can force turnovers, not to mention score points off them.
