I have to develop centers, they have to be centers I have made by hand does anyone have any websites I could get ideas from. I need to create centers for spelling, writing, phonics, and reading

Wow, all made by hand! That is a lot of work. I don't have any good websites per se,but there is an awesome book called "What the other kids are doing while I am teaching reading groups." It has tons of center ideas, many that you have to make things for the center first.

Go to a bookstore or teacher store and buy activity books with worksheets... tear out/or copy(oops, plegarism) the pages...mount on construction paper (you can color-coordinate according to category, like yellow for spelling; etc)...laminate the sheets. Have students write on the work pages with crayon or vis a vis marker. This is a fast and easy way to create centers. Not really manipulative, but re-usable. Just make sure the markers are not permanent!

I don't know of any websites but I know that there are plenty of books on centers. Try checking at your local library, that way you don't have to pay for them.
