1) he bought them between 2002-2005 so they couldn't do that (take away his game 4 win)..........2) he isn't playing tonight anyway, Jake Westbrook is

Nothing should be done to Byrd. He needed that stuff for medical reasons and I'm sure that will be proven otherwise I don't think he would have been that open talking to the media. Why would the Indians have to forfiet the game that he pitched even if he took the HGH illegally? Did anyone make Jose Canseco give his MVP back? What about the millions of dollars all these guys made while they were juiced? Guillermo Mota was pitching in the playoffs with the Mets last season while using steroids. The Mets didn't have lose their NL east titles. If he took something illegally he will get a 50 game suspension and that's it.

Absolutely, nothing proven only allegations. Byrd says it was for treatment of a condition. If Bonds can play unimpeded so should the rest. Besides, I think the hgh may have been legal then. No crime.

Why would you punish an entire team for one player who used HGH to get rid of a brain tumor in his head two years ago before it was illegal who wasn't even on the team at the time? If what he said is true(about the brain tumor and the doctors supervision)nothing is wrong with what he did. If it isn't, well he was wrong but don't punish the whole team for it.

You are an idiot.
Byrd took HGH from 2002-2005 WITH A DOCTOR'S SUBSCRIPTION!! FYI it is 2007!!
Byrd wasn't even scheduled to pitch tonight, Westbrook was.
Just more excuses because Red Sox fans are afraid they're gonna lose.

Yes he took them, and yes he should play. They weren't illegal when he took them. He took them under a doctor's orders. What a pathetic time to bring this LEGAL ACTIVITY up, just before game 7.
