Torre deserves all the credit in the world for what he did with the Yankees during the past 12 years. He took them to the playoffs every year, six times to the world series and 4 championships, any other team owner would pay most anything to keep a manager with that kind of success, but not Yankees management.

No not really. Torre is not that good of a manager. He's decent, but not as great as he is believed to be. There are 50 managers out there who could have won as many titles as Joe did with those Yankee teams. When Torre was the manager in Atlanta, he came in last place like 6 years straight.

its yankee vanity, the style that his father had yet had the stable sence to never come out and surely say. If Giradi is taking on like the comments say, issues would desire to get troublesome in great apple very immediately. Arod is long previous, torre is long previous, Mattingly suggested he isnt drawn to being a coach next year, and if Rivera, Pettite, and Posada bolt, the team will nonetheless be stable, besides the incontrovertible fact that it wont be the comparable...and Giradi has a habit of overusing youthful pitchers..and if he does that he would be long previous in 2 yrs or much less. i think of that Hank is doing what was once called blowing smoke or whistling interior the ineffective of evening. He isnt George and that form of physique of ideas would have him looking up at communities like Boston and Toronto interior the close to destiny. i think of Hank desires to make his very own legacy and it might desire to not be somewhat what Yankee followers have had over the 12 yrs...Dont get the steak knives out yet, yet with tha tkind of questioning interior the front workplace, there could be some dishes of crow arising for the american administration

actually the yankees need to develope their talent like they did to win those championships. Torre just inherited a great team. He had a great mix of veterans, and young players like jeter and rivera.

I have nothing against Torre,i think hes a fine manager and a respectable man, that being said i think Barney the purple dinosaur could have won world series and division titles with the talent he's had.
