i'm mad for the velvet underground. they've got to be one of the greatest bands of all time. and they've spawned countless numbers of good bands...

The Velvet Underground constantly figure into my top 5 bands ever. It makes me angry when bands like the Beatles get all this credit for being sooo creative (oh yay, we made an album that is impossible to actually perform live?) but then a band without as much hype like the Velvets get forgotten, when in my opinion they did more for music than the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd combined. Real art and real rock combined, a very rare thing.

they're not bad. i like"waitin 4 my man" and"sunday mornin " most but all in all it's all quite good 4 that mellow afternoon , chillin.
