Do you ever just dry, dress and leave?

First facial moisturizer, eye drops, lip conditioner, then deodorant, lotion, powder, then maybe a spritz of fragrance, then decide what's new to do with your hair...

This has been fun and funny. [Left out routine care of teeth.] Thank you, everybody. :)

Yes, I hate that part. If I am going somewhere I have to, but if I am staying home all I care about is getting clean and deodorized.

First of all I hate showering...would much rather bathe every day. I really like scented bath salts, so that goes along well with my inclinations.

I dry, powder, and dress. Then I further towel dry my hair and work my curls into some semblance of style using my fingers. When I go to my bedroom to dump my dirty clothes in my hamper, I put on my anti-perspirant and ONE spritz of my perfume at the base of my neck.

And that is it. I can't even remember the last time I put ON makeup...I think it might have been my niece's wedding two years ago?! I do keep several forms of lip moisturizer in different places (by the computer, on my bedside table, in my purse, and in my coat pocket) for use whenever I need it.

Yes, it does get tiring, so I've cut back on some of extras. I always put on deodorant and face/body lotions. I keep chap sticks around the house and use as needed, but I don't put on any make up, unless I'm going some place. I'm allergic to fragrance now, so I don't use it or powder. I've got a mostly 'brush and go' hairstyle-I don't use spray or styling products.

I'm afraid I don't bother with any of that stuff, except maybe the deodorant and fragrance. Right now I have two hair styles -- twist it up and secure it with one of those fancy roaches in fashion these days, or pull it back into a pony tail.

But then again, I'm not quite 40 -- maybe in a couple of years, I'll be considering all that necessary. (-: Think of it as pampering yourself -- you deserve the care and the good benefits that come from all that!

Ah, you forgot the most important thing. Brushing your teeth
and flossing. Since we all smile and most of us bare their
teeth, we want them clean and bright. Not dingy and dull or
worse. Yuck O. Besides not taking care of our teeth will give
us plenty of pain in the future if we ignore their care.
Who uses lip conditioner? I've never heard of that. But then
I don't go to makeup counters anymore. I self serve from
the drug stores usually. But I remember the years past where
I always bought from one of the top companies and would
try the products in the dept stores. I love the fragrances in
those departments. Especially during the Christmas season.
And no, I don't hate the morning routine. It makes me feel
better to be totally cleaned up and ready to start my day. It's
worth the effort for sure!

Never thought about being tired of doing it. It really doesn't take that long and I love to smell fresh and clean. I always try to look the best I can even if it's just for me !!!!! I spike my hair so it is easy to style and looks great !!! I always use a little eye shadow, eye liner, mascara and lip gloss !! I don't use foundation or powder anymore because it makes my skin look coarse and dull ........ What was the question again? ... *smile*

I just do the basics. Shower, brush teeth, deodorant, a bit of makeup and dry my hair. Makeup is an absolute necessity for me, not much, but at least foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick. My hair looks pretty much like it does in my avatar.

I think many of us just decide to have a basic "wash and go" day sometimes. For me that means shampoo, shower, antiperspirant and foundation. The hair can dry itself and the rest of the makeup can stay off.

I got tired of all the "maintenance", now I wear my hair spiked short-some gel rubbed in, deoderant, moisturizer when I think of it-that's my normal out-the-door look now.
I used to think it was a big no no to leave the house with out full war paint on...good grief.
