Probably a basic price of 15-20$ for 30mins. For a really good teacher than mabey double the price

I took guitar lessons for 3 years and they were 60$ a month, lessons once a week, for 30 minutes (15$ a lesson). Haven't taken them anywhere else though so I'm not sure on most prices.

I just started teaching and I charge $15/Half hour. A lot of the price is determined by how much experience the teacher has TEACHING. For how long talk with your teacher, probably 30 minutes to an hour, you don't want it to feel like it goes on forever, but too short will make it take longer to learn.

Also a tip if you begin playing, its better to practice a half hour every day rather than an hour every other day.

Go on Youtube. This Australian guy gives REALLY good lessons on popular songs. I love the guy. His username on Youtube is: Jest Song Channel. He plays songs like: Imagine One How to Save a Life and lots of others. Happy playing.

I live in the UK, and I charge £10.00 for half an hour. I Think that is a long enough concentration span. Hope this helps
