something personal such as a diary out (because you forgot to hide it) and someone came along and read it?!! Happened to me, OH THE SHAME I FELT to have all my secret feelings in the hands of someone that I can't trust!!

Me too. Me and my boyfriend of over a year just broke up and he knows all of my personal things, I mean EVERYTHING and I don't trust him with them anymore.
Yes somebody read my diary a few times even my sister's boyfriend who is about 30. Also when I was about 13 my sister read it. I think my mom did too. I felt so embarrassed and like I wanted to crawl into a hole and die or never come out. But I keep it under my mattress. Don't tell anybody.

No, you shouldn't have felt like this.
What happened has already happened, now you should adapt the new situation and ask him/her not to use his knowledge of such a very very special thing against you, leave this to Allah, He won't such untrusted one to play with you isa.
And for me, I have not experience such a thing and wish this will not happen.

that's not happened to me i knew growing up that none of my family could be trusted not to go through my stuff and poke their noses where it didn't belong so i never kept a diary i wish i had still braved it because it would be nice to go back over stuff like that and reminisce. that person who read your diary is a scum bag it's not your shame it's theirs for being such an ***** hole.

Sorry this happened, nothing worse to loose the trust of a person. I never learned to write feelings, just facts of the days events on my calendar, so no worries for me.

Absentmindedness is a normal to humans. We are tends to forget. We are not perfect. It's one of the instinct in human body. You cannot get away from forgets and absentmindedness. It's in our body. That's why we are to check and double check. There's a system. The standard layout. The layout is call "check list". This to avoid from forgets and mistakes.
