I was 13 years and 13 days old lol, yes you are normal. Don't worry, you will start in your own time. Girls usually start within two years either way of their moms, so if your mom started when she was 13, you would start between the ages of 11 and 15. But don't worry if you don't start then, you can start anywhere between the ages of 8 and 17. Don't fret! Periods usually start when you least expect it (which is veryyy inconvenient lol) so just carry round pads with you just in case. Hope this helps xo

I was 12 and my older sister was 15 so I actually got mine before her. She wasn't too happy because she was older. There are many factors as to when you will start. I was heavier and my sister was really skinny, so that probably factored in. Now with obesity rates increasing in children, they are starting their periods sooner. I think the way we eat now causes earlier menstruation. Also genetics could be a factor. How old was your mother when she got her period. Usually you will find that her age when she started will be a good indication as to when you will start.

I was 13 when I first got mine. It was irregular all the way up until I got on the pill to regulate it. It's normal that you haven't had yours. And you don't want it! If you're lucky it won't start until you're 18, that happens often!

I was eleven when mine started but don't worry! My friend didn't get hers t'ill she was 16! And you really don't want your period because you get bloated stomachs, cramps in your stomachs, mood swings, blood everywhere and all that other stuff! You might want to ask your mom when she got her period though, because it sometime's happens genitically (they happen around the same time) and if your around 100 pounds, your close. Some other sign are pubic hair, boobs, armpit hair, and white discharge from your uterus. Hope this helps,

I was about 12 years old when I got my first period....now my step-daughter on the other hand was closer to 16 or 17 ....reason why...she is a runner and it was messing her up when it came to that...and she had some stress in her life too.
