The fish can recognize you as their meal ticket so each time you pas the tank they will follow you expecting to be fed. Just like a cat or dog will let you know when they are hungry so do the fish. If this attention upsets you buy an automatic fish feeder so the fish will stop associating dinner time with you.

They are conditioned t by your intentionally or unintentionally thinking that if they look cute you will give them more treats.

they are still hungry, my fish are always hungry, i feed them and they look at me like "thats it"?
