I've heard about the cervical cancer injection, and seen as a member of my family has had it i am considering it.
HOWEVER.
i am sexually active but i've always used protection.
does this stop me from being able to have the vaccine?
and do i have to tell my doctor i am having sex?
please please PLEASE help!

You do have to tell your doctor you're having sex. And your doctor shouldn't tell your parents (mine didn't, and he was a very conservative old-school pediatrician, and it wasn't recent!).

I *think* that being sexually active means you can't have it. You can catch HPV even if a condom is used, unfortunately.

Thing to do would be to ask a nurse or doctor about this, maybe anonymously. They would know. Just don't lie to get it in order to hide that you're having sex, that's really not a good idea.
