you can add a wireless card to your computer. If it is a laptop, then you can take it to hotspots. If your computer is a desktop, them you need a wireless router in addition to your Cable or DSL modem.

First of all you will need a Wireless adapter for your computer such as a USB wireless adapter. Now your option is to steal a connection or get a wireless router for your own connection.

Dear Jacob I do not have a wireless computer ether But I have always relied on the wisdom of friends who are really into computers and you could also check it out yourself unless you do not trust your own judgement.

Well, technically, yeah. You can go to your nearest CompUSA or whatever store you use, and ask for a "wireless card." Basically, it's a chip that you just put into your computer, and it gives your computer wireless.
Good luck
