Question

I got some excellent advice on my last question, but now new problems arise, when i connect my pc and xbox 360 (throught the switch) without adding any internet i can see they are on my netwrok, but when i add an internet connection i change networks and can no longer see the xbox 360 in my network, i know ihave asked many questions but i really want to get a network up and running.

i do have a router, i will eventually put up the model, but it is very simple, it has an on/off switch and thats about it, the back has 3 inputs, power, cable, and ethernet cord

You subnet changed when its internet, do you have a router ?
