I doubt very much if any more than a very few people would be that stupid. (As it was only a few simpletons in India who did that) For the most part the crowds will clap politely for the Indian successes, roar loudly when the ball goes in the air for an Aussie catch, boo and hiss when they feel a decision has gone the wrong way .... sort of like Indian crowds, except they're Australian.

Most of us are looking forward to a good contest that wasn't delivered by the English and ALL of us are sick and tired of stupid statements that detract from the cricket. Let's focus on the game.

The Indians should be prepared to face similar or more chants after so much focus in India.
Every country has its share of chauvinists. In India since the crowd is larger such people(though few) become boisterous.

It seems u don't know the point that all other nations get bullied by Australia audiences every time there's a match in AUS ! So it's obvious that it would happen again for our team too !

are u implying indians look like monkeys?

i am indian and have better facial features ( sorry to sound so freakin proud and self congratulatory) than the aussie cricketers.

having light skin does not mean u are attractive.

anyways, the indian crowd is ignorant.
u see, india does not have a racist past like australia, europe, usa so we don't understand the racist implications of calling an african or aborigine descent person a monkey. good example: me and my friends call each other monkeys when one of us gets a bad haircut.

this is something which westerners are ignorant of too.
words have different weight in different cultures.

in india, religious, assault on family, a woman's social conduct is taken more seriously and a verbal assault on on such would be very serious.
