I have just bought a 25 gallon aquarium,. has gravel, plants etc. i have 5 danios in it allready and a filterand water conditioner etc. i can buy a heater if neccessary.
what community of fish could i put in as a peaceful community of interesting fish.
i would prefer coldwater setup aswers but any are welcome.
please tell me a selection of fish i could putin to create a community tank.

first off, danios are tropicals, so you will need a heater anyway

Also your tank needs to cycle before you get any other fish, whereas you chose a great very hardy fish which is able to undergo this stress

You will see an ammonia and nitrite spike, before they will go down and convert into nitrAtes, which is the time your tank is ready for more fish

You can put many different fish in there, it really depends on what you like
mollies, platies, guppies, swordtails, neons, rasboras, cory cats (bottomfeeder)

You should buy a heater. Since you want a coldwater set-up, then you can only keep goldfish. You should only keep 5-6 goldfish in that tank. I like tropical freshwater set-ups better since there are lots of small fish that can be kept. Maybe you can put in some goldfishes in it and mix up golfish and tropical fish foods for them to share.
