Am I the only one on here that when I see someone post an answer for good country music or songs saying check out Rascal Flatts, give them thumbs down? Shouldn't they ask those questions, or give those answers in Rock/ Pop?

just because they are in the CMA's does not make them country. The CMAs and Nashville is so out of touch on what country is.

i don't listen to the Radio, i've heard the name Rascal Flatts but i've never heard a Rascal Flatts song. that's Pop Country. anything on the radio isn't worth listening to & you can all blame Garth Brooks (he's the devil).

i saw your name i know you are a HANK III fan
check out
The Railbenders
Wayne Hancock
Split Lip Rayfield (RIP Kirk Rundstrom)
Supersucker
Eddie Spaghetti (solo)
Nine Pound Hammers
the Reverend Horton Heat
the Legendary Shack Shakers
the Cousin Brothers

i could go on

Rascal Flatts only like to be considered country they don't like the rock and pop. They said that. So posting them under the country section is where they should be. Some people like tham as country and some people think they shouldn't be country. I don't care either way. As long as the people under the country section can answer the question then it is in the correct spot. But yeah I have noticed everyone is posting their non-country questions under this section and it is annoying.

rascal flatts can be considered country because they are included in cma awards and their music is country/pop rock. but i personally think that rascal flatts is a great band, i love them, and ppl need to stop picking on them just because their music has more than one classification.

sorry to tell you that rascal flatts were introduced as a country music group... just because they have had a couple hits on pop stations doesn't mean that they are a pop group...

I agree with you, they are technically classified as country but are not country to me. i consider them like a pop boy band, not much, if any, country influence in their music. i don't care for them either way, which ever type of music they are. give me some george strait or bocephus any day.
