I want to know how to make a sock monkey without sewing, so I can make one for my mom for mothers day. I can handsew but no machine sew.

Hand-sewing *is* sewing. Just follow the regular directions and take your time. I suggest using carpet thread for extra strength.

If you have doubts about the amount of sewing, make a baby sock monkey from the toddler-size socks.

When I saw this question, my initial image was of knitting one from rag yarn and red yarn, seamlessly.

i would say the best way is too like draw on the little button eyes, and nose, and ears, and whatever else your sock monkey needs.

You could always go to the craft store and get fabric glue, though the glue gets hard after it's dried.
