Any investment can lose value over the short term. Stocks, real estate, whatever. If you're in for the long haul, any time is a good time to buy. Since it's a buyers' market, make the best deal you can and don't worry about the short term.

Ocala is a hot market. Buy the land ans sit on it for as long as you can. I have a friend that owns a lot in Palm Coast. He's been receiving offers for $100K and only paid $25K for it 5 years ago. He's going to sit on it for alittle longer to see what happens.

but mid and short term, prices in FLA go up and down, based on how bad the most recent hurricane destroyed everything.
