Government by the people for the people is a nice ideal... trouble - or 'weakness'- is that the people are all different and have differing ideas of what they need and what the government ought to do about it.
But, it's worked so far... I think folks just forget sometimes that "the people" can't always agree on what they want or need.

Because you vote for someone, or a certain group of people to get the things done you feel this country needs done and then nothing happens. It is one continuous cycle. Our politicians need to be investigated and we need to start over.
