for a homecoming parade float. it dpsent have to be extra big as long as its suitable for 4 people to stand on it

Check with local business. You will find that landscaping companies, construction companies, and the like many times have flatbed trailers. You could also contact local car dealers, RV dealers,and of course if there are any local trailer dealers you can ask them.
Good luck and if a company donates the use of a trailer, be sure to return it to them in good condition. You may also want to put a sign on the trailer in the parade thanking them. Have someone take pictures of the trailer in the parade and when you return it, bring a framed picture and a letter of thanks! That way you are almost guaranteed that they will continue to support your efforts!!
