Sorry, LOL, should have been more clear. I am the husband, not that it really matters. I am so happy I could run down the street screaming it!!!

I would wait until the 12 week period has passed. I told everyone with my 1st pregnancy when I was 6 weeks pregnant. Then I had a miscarriage and I still had people coming up to me and asking how the baby was and I had to tell them I'd lost it. Not very nice. Good luck.

At least until you hit the 12 week mark. I found out when I was 3 weeks along and told EVERYONE and ended up miscarrying at 8 weeks. I had 2 more miscarriages before I found out I was pregnant with my son and I didn't even tell my mom or my step-kids until I was 13 weeks.

You sound like my husband. I wanted to wait til I got through the 1st trimester and out of the danger zone. But he ended up blabbing it to everyone he knew-including co-workers he hardly ever talked to. Oh well, it's better than not being excited! Congratulations!!

with my first pregnancy we decided we would tell close friends and family but not make it public knowledge until after 12 weeks(when you chance of miscarriage goes down) so we told my parents and my sister and went to my uncles house and before they even got there they both told totally random ppl who i barely know. so our plan was pointless. so when i got pregnant again we decided we wouldn't tell anyone until 12 weeks and we didn't but i had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and am so glad that no one knew. i couldn't have handled it if someone had come up to me congratulating me. so i say wait until after 12 weeks.

12 weeks. I lost one pregnancy at 18 weeks and telling everyone at work and my family and friends was just about the worst thing I have ever had to do.

Wait for the first 3mos, because miscarriages happen during this period. You wouldn't want to get everybody excited for you & then go around explaining time & again about what happened.

But you can tell them any time you feel like it.
