I do think love can exist without sex, but I doubt with a straight man and a gay man. If two gay men are in love and one or both are disabled and unable to preform I can see cuddling, petting etc. as a viable option. After all love is far more mental than physical. By their vary nature straight men could not love another man.

Definitely. The Greek language is especially capable of expressing what we can't seem to say in English. A parent can love a child--nothing sexual there except the act between parents that resulted in producing that child. Friends can love friends of either and even both genders, it has nothing to do with sex. Sexual love, on the other hand, eros, has a word that is irrespective of hetero or homo connotations. Hormones get your motor running and that is as different from the other love types as the other love types are from each other.
We don't just experience one type of love. Our lives are full of different attractions and appreciations. They are not mutually existing. The love I have for my female wife was first friendship, and later erotic. Not everyone has that experience.
Not every needs to.

Love can take many different forms. Certainly, love can exist without the presence of sex.
The hitch in your question, though, is when you say "IN LOVE" with each other. That is different that one person loving another. Very complex.
Somebody's is likely to be very frustrated in a situation like that. I have been in love (maybe infatuated?) with straight men before and had very close friendships with them. They usually didn't know I was gay at the time. Had they known, it probably would have had a negative effect on the friendship. Right or wrong, it probably would have.
Even in a monogomous gay relationship, when the sex stops for one reason or another, there is a real adjustment that needs to be made.

while a gay man might be able to be in live with a straight guy,m by the sheer definition, the straight man will not 'love' the gay guy as anything but a friend. not in the sense the straight guy thinks of love.

I would say so. Kind of like the relationship JD and Turk have on Scrubs. Manlove. But, if the straight one is really in love with the gay one, some ummmm, things will eventually have to happen.

Eh. Nowadays it can. Love is love. There's men falling in love with pigs (literally), dogs in love with cats, etc. Oh yea, I watched something on tv and there was this true life story about a gay man and a lesbian girl falling in love. So yea.

Eros, Agape and I forget the term for Family love. You can love in a sexual way (Eros) or in a 'love your fellow man' friend way (Agape) or the other one, the way you love your Mom or your kids. So yeah, I don't see why not.

It's called platonic love. I have a straight friend like that, we love each other, just not in a kissy-lovey-dovey-bedroom sort of way.

Platonic love. Personally I need SEX, so either it is a friendship or a very frustrating relationship.

That sounds like being good friends to me. Certianly there is familiar love that has no sexuality!
